Default Exhaust recommedation on a 700 sportsman?!?!

I have a 03 Sportsman 700 which I am wanting to make faster and a lot meaner sounding. I have been checking out some exhaust set ups but I do not know crap about any of them. All you guys seem to have good opinions and I am sure you all know a lot more than me about it. Please recommend some good set ups, prices and links and/or places to get them.

Thanks in advance!!

A lot of twin owners, including myself, are installing the header that comes on the '05 800. From there you can install one of several silencers for more noise and power. I have a FMF powerline on mine and lots of guys are installing the Pure Polaris/White Bros. silencer. This setup is a cheaper alternative to a whole exhaust system and we're having good results with it.

I ended up getting the White Bros. Exhaust off ebay. Pretty good deal on it. I had a question even the guy that sold it to me had. First he did not give me any tuning information, but I have been reading it and it should be good to go right out of the box, since my 04 700 is stock.

Also, the rubber gasket piece on the end of the stock pipe - Am I supposed to reuse that rubber piece? It did not come with any other gaskets or anything, and I could not pull the two springs onto the hooks with it off, so I just did with out it. I started it up, and it leaks very little air around where the stock pipe and the new exhaust tip go together. Is that normal, or should I try to put it on with that stock gasket ring or what? Any info will be helpful.

Thanks,

You need to reuse your stock doughnut gasket.
