Default Raptor Fan( PLz look even though all the 700 hype is out their...)

is the fan supposed to come on? or is it only when its overheating? because when im riding hard in the sand pits, and its like 85 degrees out, sometimes when i shut off the engine for like 5sec i hear the fan running. also, when i touch the coolent hose by the engine its really hot and i cant even keep my hand on it. is this oK? my jettin is fine, my plug is a dark brown....

when it overheats the engine will bog, the fan coming on is normal. its just because its warmer out. as long as the fan is not running nonstop, then its normal. when u go to stop let the engine idle for a couple of seconds. when the engine is off and just the fan is running, it is only cooling the fluid and not allowing it to cycle back to the cyl. to properly cool the engine

fan on my raptor hardly comes on, but when it does the engine is HOT. Ive let the quad run for like 10 minutes and the fan didnt come on at all, so it has to get HOT in order for it to turn on
