Default Prop shaft yoke

I have a 2000 sportsman 500, I am replacing the yoke on the prop shaft, the yoke right under the recoil it has a grease zerk. Problem is the yoke is no longer manufactured, so they want me to buy a whole new drive shaft assmebly. $200!!! They still make the yoke, but the new yoke does not have a groove machined in it to hold the u-joint caps in. It uses internal snap rings, mine uses external snap rings or maybe vise versa. Anyone ever deal with this before? Help!!
