I finally broke down and ordered a Terry Cable billet thumb throttle today. I've had a twist on the R for the past 5 years but I never got completely adjusted to it. This morning I took the bike out for a spin, hit a whoop I didn't see and pinned the throttle as I flew into the woods. Its ironic because Ive probably been one of the biggest advocates for twist throttles on these forumns but hey, this crap has happened too many times.
