Be Careful With Scrambler 400's, especially JIMMYPSP700's
#1
JMMYPSP700 also has a Scrambler 400 2 stroke. He just had the engine hopped up with a piston, ported heads, etc. ( I don't remember the list)
So we're drag racing it down a private road (dirt). This thing moves. It's scary fast.
So we go on to the trail on private property. I came around this corner about 5 mph, then I nailed it.
The front end came up all the way and I let off the gas (not enough though), but the front end stayed up for another 15 feet or so. Scared the ###@ out of me.
Lesson: Don't punch it on grass.
As I have a Grand National that runs in the 10's, I am accustomed to power.
I don't want to ride his quad anymore. It's too fast for how light it is. Too easy to get into trouble.
I must be getting older.
Have Nice Day.

Wanna trade? lol jk, if u seriously do, i'll ask him, something with that much power would be scary but i'd get it figured out soon enough. My scrambler feels slow and my dad doesnt want to put mods on it because then things can start breaking

I remember when I got my pipe and clutch kit after it being stock for 8 months or so and was blown away by the new power. The same happened again when I got the trail port done with the milled head. It felt like I had as much power at half throttle as when I did with the pipe and clutch kit. Now that I have the race mod it's the same thing again. The diff. between the trail and race mod has been the biggest increase in power that i've felt yet. It's really fast, and accllerates like crazy.
