oil pouring out of raptor

Did you check your oil after your last oil change, and if you did how? I gave mine its first oil change 2 weeks ago and after getting the recommended amount of oil in there it was'nt even on the stick so I added more. I brought it up to were it should be and went for a ride, when I got back pulled the stick and oil was pouring out. I did as yamaha recommends and started it and let it idle for a bit warming up the oil and kept checking it. I think the oil has to be hot to get an accurate measurement, and in the future I will just add close to 2 litres and not think about were it is on the stick.

ive done this a couple times because of the most retarded oil system ever created, brought to you by yamaha!, before u put oil in it wait for the pump to kick in....im lucky i didnt throw out some bearings or seals...

dont check ur oil right after u have jus ridden it! u can let it idle to get the oil warm, but u have to wait until the case is cool to the touch to check ur oil. yamaha says to let it idle to warm the oil, then u wait about 5 min. or untill cool and then check it. when the oil gets warm it gets a little thinner and while u let it cool down it all seceeds to the case so u get a more accurate reading, but when its hot it will jus shoot out in ur face!
