does anyone know if they make an aftermarket brake caliper for the 300ex?

 

whats wrong with the stocker???

and the stock one costs 300 bucks

 

aftermarket ones (if there are any) will mostlikle be just as much. EBAY!!!! i bet u could find a good one there for around $100 i believe they are the same as the 400ex...you may want to check.

 

Back in about 99 I looked for a 300ex rear caliper. I never found anything bolt on aftermarket. There is the option of a different caliper and a new bracket from the fab shop. I say just be patient and check ebay every day, they will show up.

 

thanks for the info. ive looked in magazines and on the internet but i havent even seen any aftermarket calipers. i was just curious why they dont make them [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

 

the stock caliper is a good design and works well. they dont fail commonly thats why you dont see lots of aftermarket calipers like ones for the blaster.

 

i think if someone came up with a good desing for a universal one they could probably sell the ____out of them
