what i am trying to say is
how often will the 660 beast need topping up on petrol. i have been informed that a days riding will empty the tank, is this true?

 

depends on the way it is being ridden

if you ride wide open on the dunes all day you will likely burn thru 5-6 tanks of fuel

if you do 100 slow miles thru the woods,,,you can get er done on one tank

 

This certainly depends on your throttle use [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] Open up both carbs and it can drink it like a fish. On a modest trail ride I've got about 45kms and still had 1/4 of a tank plus reserve.

I've never run it empty. Not interested in that.

Oh, 45kms is 27.96 miles.

My raptor in the woods is good for about 50-60 miles the way i ride...
On the dunes its good for 30-40 miles the way i ride. which usually equates to about 5 tanks of petrol a day.

both are extremes

 

stock raptors are also way more efficient
