I hear this whinning sound when I accelerate. My Le is still fairly new(less than 10hrs) I thought i read some post about the same problem with new predators and it goes away after awhile. If these topic has been covered sorry I couldn't find the post. I'm also looking for a video with riding tips. I've seen the John Natalie video are there any more out there

I had a whinning sound at idle on my 05 LE but it went away after a couple of hours of riding. I never had a winning sound while driving though.

 

Oh, i wouldnt worry if i were you. I had the same problem and it went away after a couple trips out. If i remember correctly, in the other post, it said it had something to do with the gears or the chain, i dont remember.

 

mine did the same thing, it sounded like it was coming from the left side of the motor. it went away after a little while, or i just can't hear it anymore due to the pipe. i'd give it some time to work in some more. if it's still doing the same thing when it's time for the first service then i'd have them take a look at it but until then don't be scared.

sounds like things are just breaking in and wearing together the final process of mating. and being able to work as a unit insead of just a bunch of parts
