I saw at www.motorcities.com a banshee with transparent clutch cover. Does that look good! Is it a custom unique part or is it for sale somewhere?

 

yes they sell them, i believe trinity makes them. they look good to some ppl but i rather the shininess of a aluminum one

 

Does anyone have one? Do your boots scratch them up pretty good?

I have one from Trinity, its almost a year old and doesnt have a scratch on it. I cant remember how much it was off the top of my head. I do remember it was 30 dollars to machine my clutch cover to accept the new cover. I'll try and find my receipt to find out how much it was.

 

Do you mean it doesn't fit "perfectly" ?
It's not as simple as taking off the old ugly one (and taking all the oil on your feet) and screw the new one?

 

When Trinity machines it they modify it so it is a quick remove clutch cover (quick and easy access to change clutch plates, do not have to remove kick-start, brake pedal, radiator hose, or the water pump)
