Weighing my options here.

1 - Drill a hole in a front fender
2 - Install a front rack
3 - Fab a bracket to attach it to the headlights

Any input is welcome!

Polaris makes a vidcam mount, it's on their site. But if I remember, it's not cheap, its of the RAM mount type. Should be on their purepolaris site.

If I were you I would fab my own mount with some tubing and a flat piece of metal and get some type of bracket so you can mount it to your bars or front rack and put a piece of plexi glass in front of the lense so you don't crack it

Good point with the Plexiglas, vidcams do NOT hold up very well at all to dust, sand, and dirt. You'd be amazed how little sand it takes to kill an expensive video camera.

Found it, it's only $40. That's not too bad. Between time and materials, I'd spend at least that making something up myself. I might just order that. Pic

Yep, jjust be careful with that camera. Even wrapping it in glad wrap for freshness may be a good idea.

A riding buddie of mine used a similar mount for his camera. The rough trail caused the bottom of the camera to get ripped out. I believe all cameras are going to be the weak link on a rough trail. You better check out the durability of the camera mount before you destroy a $400.00 camera.
