As found at off-road.com: "JetMoto 110 Review: Enter the new age of the 4-stroke youth quad"
by George Szappanos

Here is a link to read about the chinese quads.

Haven't ridden one or bought one, but I went to check one out (Jetmoto) and was not impressed at all. Suspension a little rough?? Are you kidding? I felt like I was trying to bounce on an old school Bigfoot Power Wheel. Unless I hear something different from someone, I totally changed my mind about gettting one of these. And yes, I also read this same review on Off-Road magazine.
Can someone tell me if these Jetmoto quads are the same as the Jackel, Eton, Yamoto, etc etc in quality?

Only problem I see is that the motors are larger than what cpsc says kids should ride. A lot of states are starting to adopt thier guidlines as law

Jetmoto, Yamoto, Jackal, Quazi. All of these are built by the same company but some distributors take it apon thierselves to change some things to make them a little different from another. Overall the quality is good and they have more features than any of the top 4 (Hon,Yam, kawi, suz etc..) will have. Yes the suspension is stiff but they are kids atv's and most all of them name brand or not are stiff anyway. The suspension can be changed with aftermarket shocks and springs. I can tell you that Yamoto by Patriot motorcycles is going to be at the top soon above the big 4 because they are improving with our input and the price is right for just about anyone unless the big 4 puts all the features and drops the price on thier atv's. They get better and better every year and they are not far off to be a contender against the big 4. I own 2 of them. An 04 Kazuma and an 05 Quazi (same as Yamoto) both 110's and the 05 is much better than the 04. I have had zero problems with either. Everyone has an opinion and I decided to take a chance and it turned out.

I drove one of those Jackel's and felt like I was driving a brick. With the nature of trail riding in Idaho, one would get beat up the first mile. Instead, I purchased a Polaris, which really isn't a Polaris (Aeon, or something like that), and found it to be significantly better in ride. They'll have to do a lot of improvement on the suspension before I'll buy one, or else I'd have one now. I'll look at them in a year or two to see what happens with the suspension and full floor boards. If they work on those things, then I'd take a serious look at them.

The best quality quads that come from asia are Kazuma/Redcat. I have a 250 and I go riding with it every other weekend. Very reliable.

I agree that the suspension is a little hard on the Jackel but the quality more than makes up for it. As mentioned in previous posts the Kimko is a great unit and to some degree the Eton is of quality design. I don't have Idaho terrain so that may be the difference in the stiffness. Maybe I'll send Jackel an email on rear suspension changes. I do positively know that Yamoto and Jackel is not made at the same factory. The fit and finish on the Yamoto is sub par at best based on what I've seen here in AZ. The VIN's are also from a different factory to confirm this as I was researching some registration things when I unfortunately bought my Kazuma years back. I will say a good used Honda rarely lets you down but its always a toss up buying someone elses problem...

IMAC 08 "OLD SCHOOL BIG FOOT POWER WHEEL"

Dang man that brought back some memories!!!!!!! I was 17 when they came out, and my little sister got one... first day of driving it...... Her, Dad, and the blue plastic beast ended UP over a very steep retaining wall at our house ( ALL CAUGHT ON VIDEO) She couldnt stop it, dad was chasing, and then he did the last ditch effort jump and grab, but it was to late. thanks for that I needed it.

Yamoto is now owned by Patriot motorcycles. All of the chinese brands, Yamoto, Yamato, Redcat, Quazi, Jakal, etc... are pretty much the same atv's. The frames are made by Stannic corporation, motors by Lifhan, tires by far east or some generic name. Companies buy these in parts and assemble them in thier factories. They add thier own touches to make them a little different but almost every 50,70,110 and most 150's you see is the same with minor differences. Jakal buys these from overseas but then gets them to thier warehouse and they change all the bearings to Japanese grade (which is better), quality grade bolts, and then gone over before they are sent out to buyers. The difference between Jakal and other quads is that Jakal puts some time and quality back into the atv's. All the motors are the same on the 50-70-110cc atv's no matter what brand you buy. Your right the atv's are not made in the same factory but they are built with the same parts. The vin # are going to be different and some dont even have vin#'s. The quality of these improve every year because of out input and one day they or at least a few of these brands will be at the top.
