I need to change the rear boots on brother inlaws 600. How do you remove the axle to change them? I have tried everything. It will not pop out from the diff.

 

I usually use a pry bar and pry it out. In my manual is says to pull sharply outward.

 

it should pop off with a little bit of pulling... if it doesnt, try tapping around the edge with a mallet and maybe spray some kind of penetrating oil in there, although I dont know if it would be able to get to the spline, and give it a couple of good tugs. if it still wont budge then proceed to try and pry it off. Ive taken both my rear axles off my old sp400 and all that I had to do was give it 3-5 sharp tugs and it would start to come loose.
