the place u took it sounds like a ripoff! it should take less than an hour to jet....and u should make them fix it! for free! and test drive it there...and not leave till it runs good!

Yep, what she said...... 3 hours to rejet your raptor????? Sounds like they were smoking crack instead of working on your quad...

well the only thing is, this dealership is like an hour away. the one i baught it from was horrible so i didnt wana give them any more business than i went to this other place and they took forever! i live in minnesota so everything is basically the same elevation and the same temp, so thats not the issue. i just got off the phone with them and they said to bring it back up and they will "take a look at it" for free. so you would just test ride it there and bring it back in and tell em to fix it again if she isnt runnin quite right yet? whats happening is when i give it gas in idle it will cut out or when i dump the gas hard in gear is will bogg way down or even kill

Hell, I'd do it myself man, beats having someone else wreck it.

Raptor Tranny .com has a great tutorial on jetting your quad.

Yeah, I am sick of dealers, they charge insane prices for parts and never get the order right, expecting people to ship the parts back, or take time out of their day to return them in person. The service from dealers is terrible. It makes me sick to buy parts from these rip-off artists. They don't care about you, or your bike, they just want your money. We should be able to buy parts directly from the factorys.

I'm sick of whinning customers who by no fault of mine purchased an off road vehicle and now expect everyone involved to wait around for any issues that arive....next time you order something over the internet and it comes in wrong click to my pics page and look at my smiling face...I'm laughing at you

If you could buy your parts direct from the factory there would be no dealership in your area and nobody to fix it when you can't

my suggestion is to put your helmet and go ride...enjoy your quad...it will have issues from time to time...deal with them the best you can and move on...I can only imagine how many eyes roll when midnite walks into a dealership

I like my customers and bend over backwards, break the rules, get yelled at by the boss, almost daily in the name of my customers...but by golly just like anything else in this world you get treated the way you treat other people

dealerships are businesses like any other...with a qualified staff very few dissatisfied customers should arise

braaaaaap
