Why wouldn't I buy the 650 Auto 4x4 LE over the 500 Auto 4x4 LE?
Is price the main reason or does the 500 have better lowend torque because of single cylinder?
The difference is less than $500 so I'm leaning towards the 650.

The only reasons you should buy a 500 over a 650 are...Easier Maintenance, better gas mileage, and WAY less quircks, you will rarely if ever have to have the 500 in the shop, at our shop the % of v-2s that come back for something within the first 100 miles is about 50%.

 

Why wouldn't you buy an 06? Fewer probs on the 650's.

 

My local dealer (who only had a 500) said that the 650 does use more belts than the 500. I called a couple of other dealers and they said they havn't had hardly any (only could remember one that burned up a belt after continuing to run it after it was in too deep of water) with belt problems. So, I put a deposit on the 05 650 and will pick it up tomorrow. I would like to have waited for the 06 H1 but the price for that model is too high and it's too new, I'll wait a couple of years. Besides, I know that my wife will need one and she can have this 650.
