Hey everyone when i get my 700 raptor i was wanting to know if anyone knew whether or not the pipes for the 660 could possibly fit on the 700? Because i figure it will take awhile for the aftermarket to start making some exhausts for the 700 Raptor.. Maybe not though

 

NO.. It's a whole new motor and new chassis, so a 660R motor wont adapt to he 700r. Come to think of it, it wont even fit since it has the new chassis design. Good news is that GYT-R already has aftermarket header and slip-ons!

 

i doubt it. But the GYT-R pipe is junk. they made like 3 different versions of it for the 660R, and the 1st generation of them were BS, so i wouldent suggest gettin one.

 

That's very true, but there's some people who really like them.

 

When they do start making aftermarket pipes for it what do you think would be a good brand name to get alba, Yoshi, Curtis sparks or what kind would you think might be the best?

 

According to the Yamaha website, the GYT-R pipes won't be available to the Fall, whenever they decide that is.
I'm partial to the Yosh pipes, but that's more preference than anything. I think they have the best bang for the buck, but that may be different for the new Raptor. I'll probably wait until one of the magazines does a test on a bunch of different pipes.

 

You can be sure manufactures are in the process of R&Ding pipes right now, they'll be plenty by the end of the year.
