Default Banshee sinlge carb kit vs duel carbs.

Ok my friend has a 87 banshee with trinity stage 3 porting 350 long rod or maybe the 400. not the 410. cool head with 18 cc domes. He has the single carb kit with a pj 36. the bike is jetted correctly and has tons of power on the top end but completly dead on the bottom. Im thinking he should run 2 pj 36's. twice the air flow for the bottem end. Has anyone had this kit or no if it should be used on highly modded bikes. Ive never seen this kit on any banshee thats fast on the hill. I dont no banshee's I'm a honda rider so I'm not sure if the bike is fine or not. just has no power on the bottem. It might be geared a tooth high but no more than 2. Please help. Thanks.

My single setup (trinity stage 4) had a ton of bottom end power and good midrange but fell short on top end. That seems to be the complaint of most people. With 18cc domes it should have a lot of bottom end. Is the timing advanced? If not then +4 would be a great start or at least do some checking. Check the reeds for proper closing also.

The timing is complety stock. I have not checked that yet. How would I tell? behind the flywheel? would this make that much diff on the bottom. he also has a stock ing set up should he up grade that before adding a second carb. seems like Im waiting for power utill 6000 rps and then it rips my arms off. like a light switch. do you think a 36mm is enough? thank you very much for the help.

If you put a bigger carb on it, you will lose more bottomend, and gain more top end.
