Default video from Duneme's st ann trip.

Just got back and took some video of the first ride with Duneme. I am thinking seriously of selling the DS (due to the new rail) so some of the video is a walk around of the machine. Skip the first video is you want to miss the walk around. Here is the link.

Nice vids. You sure flew by the 730. How many hours do you think you have on the turbo?

If its not sold by then bring it to DS Days and I'm sure you might get some interest in it.

Since majorecho did the last build with the 8/1 JE piston I have three trips to st anthony for weekends and one day trip to Little sahara Utah. Maybee 15-20 hours of actual ride time. Probably less. Since I have the rail it doesn't get ridden much. This weekend I took the rail out 4 times and the DS once. It has a .16 jet on the NOS which equals about 20 horse with the turbo and 8 horse on a naturally apirated engine. I have went through a total of 2 bottles of nos on the engine. It is set to 7 lbs of boost and the nos is only used at the bottom of the hill for a quick shot. This weekend I only used nos 4-5 times in 1-2 second bursts to get the RPMS up. The new ECU set up is incredibly clean. I was bummed cause as I was leaving I saw Jed getting there and I would have loved to race him a couple times.

I don't know if I will make it to DS days. I love meeting all the great people but it is a long drive for a little hill. I am headed to pismo in four days and I may have the DS with me for that trip. Part of the problem is space in the trailer with the rail. For this trip it is either the kids quads or the DS. If I decide to sell I could actually drop it off at some lucky californian's door.

I have gotten a couple calls from people who could not get it to load. You have to have quicktime's software. I know Duneme is getting some helmet cam footage that he can post when he gets back. Lucky dog will be there till thursday if I remember right.

Cracker, sorry I missed ya, but I did wave on the way by! I just installed some Hpr5 nitrous cams and this was my first trip on them. This bugger is lazy out of the hole so I wont be making that huge leap on you now. My gps said I did 51.4 up choke, but she was falling hard at the top. I hope you dont sell it and we get another race in.

viper,

Did you hook up with Duneme while there? The last time we raced I was holding a strong 3rd. This trip with the same gearing I was holding 4th strong. I think it will be a good race if we can get together again. The new ECU was very smooth. I went on a great ride wide open with Duneme and never got over 160 degrees. It was running incredibly cool. I am ready to hook up and fine tune the starts with you.

Hope we can hook up,

justin

Dang. . . thanks Justin. . . I missed this post.

Got home last Saturday at 2am. Cleaned the trailer later that morning after some sleep then sat on my butt watching some of the Tour that I had recorded while gone. Then flew out for business trip Sunday at 6am. Another busy week.

I've got some of the video to the DVD recorder now I just need to go through it and create some mpeg's.

I'll try to get some to my buddy to post this weekend but, it may take some time. I've got plans to sit in the pool this weekend with a nice blender drink in my hand

Justin flew by me like I was standing still. He's got that thing dialed in. Glad you didn't drop it off with anyone that lives near me. . .

Man! You guys and your wide open spaces!
Justin, that is one awesome machine. People must talk about that one around the dinner table.
