New York Drag Racing 4.4 et
#1
This is Darrin Lynk, I watch and read these forums, but for some reason my computer illiteracy has kept me from being able to get signed up (it keeps telling me it will email a password, but it never comes?), so I sent this to Randall and asked him to post it for me.
Thanks to you guys, I decided to go with the HPR stock bore Genesis motor kit with HPR Ugly Stick drag pipe last spring.
It is running 4.8's on motor and 4.4 on NOS in 300ft dirt. At the biggest 4 wheeler race in NYS (July shootout), it won all the 4stroke Pro Mod classes and some bonus purses and qualified for the Low et shootout (only 4 bikes out of 200+ qualified). And it still weighs 450 lbs with stock suspension and chassis.
I sent timeslips to Randall and Eric if they can put them up on here.
This motor far exceeds my expectation for any race motor durability wise and HP wise. I have thrown the chain and dry fired the NOS twice and got greedy with NOS and burned the ground electrodes off. It still runs strong and never hurt the motor.
A special thanks to Randall and Eric for living up to your name and Jason at SRPD. HPR rules!

WOW! Now that is very impressing weighing in at 450lbs and laying down 4.4 sec passes on a stock bore/stroke motor.

What do yall think I should be able to run with the genesis in a drag frame? Im very impressed with the weight that bike is pulling with a stock chassis.
