I have an 05 Rubicon with just over 600 miles on it and wondering if the oil change light come on. The first Rubicon and the Rincon the oil change light comes on every 600 miles.

 

Yes it should....Honda says to change oil the first 100 miles and then after every 600 miles. If you haven't already change it at once. If you did, I would change it 600 miles after your last oil change. (10W-40 and a Honda oil filter)

PS: use only Honda Oil and Filter otherwise if something goes wrong and it’s under warranty you may have problem. They may check if you are using the correct oil and filter so that I was told.

 

Does it come on at 600 miles or every 600 miles after the first 100 miles?

 

it will come on 600 miles after you reset the light.
