I just bought a K&N filter for my 04 Wolverine and saw that they sell a sealing grease also. Do you guys use this, or is there something I can use in place of it instead? Just want to make sure that it doesn't eat away the foam on the filter whatever I end up using. By the way, I just bought the stock replacement, not the pro flow clamp on. Thanks.

 

I just use regular old grease out of my grease gun. I believe I have a marine grade grease in it.

 

I just use plain old grease out of my grease gun as well, works great. Getting ready to order the Pro Flow set-up with the foam filter/pre-filter, so that grease nonsense will be history.
