I will be taking our almost new 2005 Outy 400XT to a much higher elevation (7000'+) to ride than our normal 400 ft ele., and I was told by a friend that I will need to change the jets to a leaner type, otherwise the quad will run rough and will have no power. I checked the manual, and could find no reference to running it at altitude. If I need to change the jet, what size and is it difficult to get to?
