i have an 03' suzuki ltz400. it has a white brothers r4 slip on exhaust, UNI filter, jet kit. VS.
a bone stock 2004 honda 450R.... how much faster would the 450R be than the z400??
any help is appreciated

 

The 450 is still going to have a good lead on you. The 450 weighs less than the z and the only thing that can make up for displacment is displacment so even with the mods you have really the only thing you can do to make it as fast or faster is internal work, such as cams, polishing, bigger and higher compression piston. I mean you should keep up fine with the 450 everywhere except a drag race or on the track but it all depends on the rider

 

I agree I think that the 450 will still be a bit faster.

 

The 450R will out run anytime by removing the spark arrestor off.

 

yeah 450r will beat an 03 z400 but if you had a 05 or 06 you would win with a yoshmura pipe and header and jet kit and k&n air filter

 

why do you say an 05 or 06? Those modifications they made to them only make it MAYBE 1 mph faster then the 03 or 04. I raced my friends 05 with my 04 and they were side by side the whole way, give or take a few inches. So either way the 450 is going to still be alittle faster

 

Everything ive read says the 05 is noticibly faster...
