banshee jetting

Default banshee jetting

hey im gettin my banshee put back together and i need some advice. i got cpi pipes, v-force 3 reeds, mod-quad cool head w/19 cc domes, 30mm mikuni carbs, reed spacers, advanced my timeing by 3 degrees, fire 1 racing did my port/polish job,K&N filter, and over sized radiator. im not sure where to start with my jetting. any pros got a guess as to where i should start with the jetting?? im thinkin i should just take it in, whatcha guys think?

Don't take it in... Do it your self...Go buy some jets 260-310 mains and 25-30 pilots....
If you want to error on the safe side I would start with 27 pilots and 300 mains... Air screw 2 turns out... Needle clip in the middle position... Put in a new set of plugs, warm it up, take it for a full throttle run and then do a plug check.... Hope this helps.....[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

welp im thinking just go and buy a 300 jet for each carb and put some pilot jets in too.

just to be safe id put a rich main in and work down. u dont wanna throw away money on somethin simple like jetting
