My raptor vs. yfz
#1
Ok, raptor with a rebuilt engine bored .1 over(to a 670). Jetted, bigger carbs, open airbox with k & n, dual LTE full pipes, 2 teeth less on the front sprocket, 2 teeth more on the back(i am very EXPERIENCED ON THE CLUTCH)......... i have 3 buddys that are all buying yfzs and piping them....... will i have a chance? and if it matters about which pipe then tell me what to look out for
Thnx

Bigger carbs? 35mm fcrs? single setup? What are you running? Also, is the new piston stock compression, 11:1, or what?
Sounds like you could use a cam and port job, but even without you should do well against piped yfzs. Cam modded ones might put on some pressure though.
Your gearing is too short, 11/42 is too much for 20" tires and even ill advised for 22's.

well if the yfz you say is going to have the pipe and all of it put on there then they rejet, new air filter wit no lid, they will have a chance to then esp if theyre good on the clutch

You'll take them. I beat and I still beat my little brother on his YFZ, once I hit 4th gear I'm gone. I'll try and record it, for the non believers.
