raptor jet install

Default raptor jet install

how hard is it to put a dyno jet on a raptor?

It's not hard just time consuming. First you have to remove the seat, front plastics and unbolt the headlights, gas tank, undo the throttle linkage, and then remove the air intake. Just make sure that you take the carb apart slowly so that you see how everything goes back together. I would recommend a dremmel drill just in case some of those phillips head carb screws decide to round out, (common) you can turn them into flat head screws to get them out. The first time if you are mechanical and know what your doing should take about 30-45mins. If not take your time and go at your own speed and take pics along the process in case you forget how it came off. I would not recommend the dyno-jets as they are'nt industry standard when crossreferencing. Go to the dealer and buy a jet kit from them and ask them the correct jetting for your elevation you ride at. Good luck!
