SPANKING NEW MAGNUM 500
#1
Just picked up my 2001, silver, Magnum 500
. It is an awesome machine even without the HO. The EBS is real tight. I hope it loosens up some it would be nice to coast a little.
[red] No longer a polarisite because I have my own[/red]
[blue]Three Magnums now:
I ride one, I drive one, and I carry one {its not a gun} [/blue]

1] Price, I could afford an SP but didn't want to.
2] I will be working it alot and playing a little.
I felt the Magnum would require less maintenance.
3] I like the ride and didn't see a need for the IRS.
To each his own but this is the machine for me.

Congrats,Silvermagnum with your new machine. Excellent choice. I too am buying my first 4x4. Its a 99 Sportsman 500 with a big wheel kit, winch and clutch kit.I was real close to getting a 2000 Magnum demo from a local dealer, but then I found this Sportsman for several hundred $ less. I'll be adding a Moose plow and hoping for a decent snowfall this year so THE wife can see its usefulness.
