ok tonight i went ridin with a couple friends with the 450R and KFX400 and we were drag racing in this field my friend on the 450R wanted to take my bike for a spin, and when he flew by us we heard this CLUNK CLUNK like rocks were hittin the frame and stuff, so he comes back and told me my nerf bar just broke, come to find out my right side nerf bar broke next to the weld, and i have never raced this ive had them since christmas and i live in NY so we have snow and cant ride it for a while and i have never put it on its side to weaken them, so i was thinkin bout callin the dealership we got them from and telling them to see if i get a refund b/c of defect cuz the steel tubing should not have broken with a 125lbs rider that doesnt race or hit jumps, well other than ones that are 2-3ft of air do u think they will give me new ones or no?

 

not if youve had them for that long but maybe if you take to the dealership they will be nice enough to see if they can replace them im sure!

 

well i would hope so its not like i even really used them cuz i dont race and they dont take any beating just think if i was racing and i hit a jump and my foot slipped off the peg and my nerf bar broke that would be just a fun old time [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]

 

bring it somewhere to get welded back together
