There is obviously only one way to find out. This is a question that cannot be answered by just asking the question. Another thing you will notice - Yamaha guys will say YFZ Honda guys will say 450R.

 

im a HONDA guy and i say the yfz450 will flat out beat it iv seen both of them run fully tricked out(not racing each other) but the yfz will beat the honda i love honda's and everything but still.

also i have seen both of them race a mx race with the exact same mods and the yfz beat the honda (almost laping him) then the guys switched bikes and the same results happened

If they both have equal mods and one is almost getting lapped I would say the rider is to blame. If the yfz is so much faster when modded how come they are not just conquering all types of racing. Can you say baja? (flat out as fast as one can go). Rider is the key.

As far as a quarter mile race (like origanally asked) there is still only one way to tell - line em up! It will depend on who has theres tuned better for that day, best traction, holeshot, need I go on?

 

its not conquering everything because it wasnt made for everything.....

 

If its fully modded you can build it for anything (flat track, mx, baja, ice racing etc)
