k well like its not overheating that bad but pretty bad lol I drive it for about 30mins at about 3/4 throttle and when I turn the engine off a poping noise comes out of the muffler and the fan is not on but I don't feel that much heat around my legs but its hot enough that the fan should be on is there any wires I should look at?

That pop out the exhaust on shut off, isnt necessarily a sign of over heating. Id say its from a lean idle circuit. If you pull the choke on, and then shut it off, ill bet it quits popping. How old is the gas in the tank?
You could run a couple of wires directly to the fan, this would let you know if it works or not. If the temperature light doesnt come on, then it probably isnt over heating.
You could bring a meat thermometer with you, and when its been running for awhile, touch it to the motor and get a reading. Normal thermometers wont go high enough, the motor could be as high as 250-280F.
