Default simple jetting question

alright ive had jetting issues since i can remember but here;s another one... raptor with k&n, lid on, flaps cut, slip on gytr pipe.. 144 and 146 dynojets. had a stealership hook it up and it is apparently runnign top notch but i beg to differ... full accelleration it is fine but when im just trying to cruise around, say out of a parking lot at maybe a 1/4 throttle it spits and pops like it wants to die and about jerks me off the back when it does fire right.. anyway any recommendations? would this be the needle position?

Thanks for any info

Did you set your mixture screws and needle position to Dynojets recommendations? It sounds like its running a little lean on the bottom.

Default simple jetting question

the mixture screws are set right.. its running at 3.5% but the needle i have no idea... i had the dealer do it so im really not sure where they put it... hopefully according to dynojets recommendations. if its popping at a slight throttle would the needles need to go out then?? it also pops quite a bit when using compression to slow down.

Mine had the same problem when it was stock and all I had to do was come out on the mix screws. They should be set at 2 3/4 or 3 turns out each (with a stock pilot). If you want to richen the needle, go down with the clip..............
