Honda Big Bore Sport ATV ideas

I think that Honda should drop the 300ex out of the lineup and build a TRX650EX with the XR650R dirt bike engine in it. That would be a sweet quad.
What do you think?
Any other ideas?

I was going to try and shoe horn my DS motor into my EX chassis, but the motor is too tall. I inquired about having a Walsh frame built, but it was gonna be some mega bucks.
I imagine a 650EX, or something similar will eventually make it's way into the publics hands.

Been running the 650 honda motor in my Warrior for years, can't understand why Honda can't step up to the plate, drop their ***** out, and swing; build a 650ex quad, the public has been waiting forever, Honda's loss, I'm having a good time with mine, they could sell at least 100,000 bikes 1'st yr out, too caught up in the utility market, I guess they make enough from it to support the entire Corp., it's sad not to give the public what they want.

you got to just go for it, cut frame top or bottom and re-fab depending on countershaft sprocket alignment, any motor will fit in any frame, it's just work to get what you want, the Mfg. are not gonna build what you want, don't waste your time waiting.

Yep, around an inch and a half too tall. As far as cutting, and raising the frame...well then that throws the fenders, tank, etc out of wack. I also don't think the frame would have the same strength...and considering I'd be using it on a MX track, that could be a scary thing. I also don't have the tools, and know how to tackle it myself...I'd end up farming it out, and spend as much as if I'd had a frame built.
I'll just bide my time, and when Honda comes out with a 650, then I'll make a move.

I think Honda should buid the following machines to 'complete' their lineup:
TRX200, TRX150, TRX30. All of those should be adult sized quads as well - I mean, at least they would complete their line up with these machines. They almost went the right direction with the 400ex (up from 300) then here comes the 250ex joke. Well, why not a few more good jokes? a 200, 150 and 25 - what more could you ask for in an adult sized quad?
