Brand New TRX450R on the block
#1
Hello all...
Just had to post about my new 450R. Love the bike so far. I had been debating over the Polaris Predator TLE and the TRX450R for about a month. I finally decided on the TRX and im glad I did. I like the light weight/plush suspension/and awsome power of the Honda. I've always been a Honda guy anyways.
I went shopping for the best deal I could find through my local dealer network, and couldnt find anyone who would work with me at all on pricing. I dont like paying for " Set-up/freight/Doc " fee's. So I bought my bike through a broker, and picked it up at a shipping terminal. Driving back home from the shipping terminal with a big Honda box in the back of your truck draws a lot of attention I've come to find out. Every time I stopped to eat or get gas, someone would ask whats in the box... :-)
Anyways with about 7 hours of carful break-In time on the bike, I gotta say that the bike rips. So far mods are Pro Armor skid Plated/Bumpered . I just replaced the 14 tooth drive sprocket with a 13 tooth. Having only ridden it around the block with the new sprocket, I can feel a lot more low end snap. I like it. I have a set on Sand Stars ready to go On for Sand Mnt, Once I have a couple more hours on the bike. I cant wait. Renthal Fat bars are in the mail and should be here by Friday.
I wanna do an HRC kit , but that'll wait until a little later. Im happy with the power right now....Ive posted a few pics in my profile. Go have a look....
See you all on the trail.

Thanks all ... I know for SURE that I'll love this bike for a long time to come ...... I have zero buyer's remorse. I waited and waited forever and a day to finally get my quad.
Buying a new home can take months and months of just waiting for a chance to pick a lot, let alone the time it takes for the home to be built, and so on.....
Anyways Peace outty all

My 1st break-In ride was in Toiyabe National Forest. I road a long fire road loop. I veried RPM's quite a bit on that ride, and then changed the Oil. 2nd ride was some more maintained dirt road type riding out in the high desert. Im going to take another two easy rides, before I call it broke in....
BTW I like the Black bike as well, Although Ive had black plastic on my dirt bikes in the past, and from expierence I know that black does not hold as well as other color's... but it looks awsome on the showroom.
