Default Blaster replacement?

There was rumor the Blaster may slip through a loophole of some sort. I would love to see it get replaced with a performance oriented 250 four stroke. Something light with e-start and reverse.

it would be pretty sweet if they put their yz250f motor in an updated blaster frame and called it a yfz250.

Yeah, I'm with you guys. They need something in that 250cc 4-stroke class to compete with the 250ex and Z250. Those bikes, and mainly the Honda pretty much rule that. It of course would need to be e-start and have reverse. Not sure on shaft drive though. Need something to make it stand apart.

Hopefully they don't call it the Raptor 250 either!

Im hopping that the blaster stays and that they improve the motor a little maybe liquid cooled or something would be nice but keep it a TWO STROKE

This has to be true, cause they are going to want the cost down. That was the whole point in the Blaster, a quad for riders with a low-budget.

A 250f motor is going to put the cost in the 5k's, and it would just be like having a less powerful yfz. It sounds cool, but think about it, who would want it?
