Recently my brother was killed during a convoy while stationed in Iraq. He bought a new KFX400 before he left and now I have inherited it. I found a wish list for parts and ordered all of them as my brother would want it, am I headed the right direction?

Hotcams Intake and Exhaust
Ported and Polished Head
DMC alien Pipe
Barnett clutch with Hinson basket and pressure plate
Dynatec Programmable CDI
Alba +2 A-arms
Eyeball Engineering +2 swingarm
Durablue 2+2 axle
triple rate Elkas

Hyper Carbon fiber wheels 10x6 / 9x9
Kenda Klaws
Pro-armor nerfs / bumper / grab bar
Trailtech Big bar kit with clamp and speedo

Hey a fellow Oklahoman. My brother and I were both born and raised in Oklahoma. I am in the Army too and stationed in VA. I just returned to VA today. I am sure you've seen the news about my brother. He was killed July 15th. His name is Jed Hartley. I havent taken all this that well and try to stay busy. I really want to do his bike up the way he would want it and that most likely means everything that CAN be done to it. He loved to ride that thing and I could never bear to sell it. I, myself am an avid rider and I'm sure he would rather see it getting ridden and ridden hard rather than sitting as a momento. I've been ordering parts like a madman and the engine is in wichita, ks at Nmotion as we speak. I will be back down in that area later next week. Thank you for the sympathy and god bless.

Well, here's what I have so far. I'm still waiting on the front a-ams and the elka's, but they should be here Friday. The controls aren't done and I need new grips, but you get the idea. Let me know what you think.

I'm sorry for your loss. God bless you and your family. That has got to be hard.
I hope you get one bad KFX going in his name. If you are interested in an American Flag graphic kit, I saw them on HMF's website (www.hmfengineering.com) a while back. Since then they changed their site, so I dunno if it's still on there but I know they have them. Give them a call and tell them what you are doing for your brother. I am 100% positive those guys would help you out. They are some good guys over there. I think they might even be able to make custom graphics as well. Good luck.
God bless.

hey i'm very sorry for your loss. If I were in your position i would get one of these so that everyone knows that, that was his bike and the way he would have wanted it. A custom stitched seat cover with his name and rank stiched on it. Razorbacksatv.com i've been thinkning about having one made for my dads raptor since he retired from the army.
