Default 99 Scrambler 500 cvt belt problem

Last time I rode the Scrammy was October of last year. Since then I replace rear carrier bearings, caliper and pads, all fluids and the belt, cleaned the K&N and installed an IDS2 header system. Now the Scrammy barely moves. I took the cvt cover off and when I throttle it the front clutch compresses the belt almost all the way out on the pulley and the rear clutch opens up about half way and the belt is slipping and the quad barely moves. If I let it go long enough it will either start smoking the belt or it will start moving. Once it is moving it seems to go ok but at times the engine will rev like the belt is slipping. When I let off the gas it acts like I have engine braking down to about 10-15 mph. It will almost chirp the rear tires when I let off the gas. I dont have EBS. Top speed seems to be reduced also. Any ideas. I was planning a trip to Coalcreek the end of this month. Thanks.

I figured out what was wrong reading another message. When I replaced the clutch buttons I wound the secondary clockwise instead of counter-clockwise. It shifts fine now.
