Mud lites and A-arm guards
#1
I just installed 25" Mudlites mounted on ITP C-4 rims and Ricochet a-arm guards. I'm just a little disappointed in both. The mudlites do not bulge out over the rims like the 26's I put on the Twin Peaks. I didn't put 26's on the Grizz because the 25" got the same lug size this year. I don't need the extra 1/2" ground clearance trade-off for the power loss. Will the rim hold up well to dings and such? It certainly felt heavy duty enough.
As for the Ricochet, I would have liked to see them protect the CV joints a little more. Has anybody that has installed them had one ripped by a stick? I guess if nobody has a problem they are good enough. I think I will add the other guards when I replace some money in the savings account.
