I have an end cap on my 04 DS and love it. I recently got a 04 Z400 for my wife. I saw on ebay that someone makes an end cap for it too. Anyone have any experience with the Z400 with an end cap ? Does it wake up the Z like it does the DS ? or do I need to invest in a full exhaust for the Z ? any help is appreciated.

 

well the ds pipe is pretty much like a aftermarket pipe where as the other sport quads dont have a strait through exhaust...the ds has a baffle surrounded by packing... when opened up it performs awesome because its strait through....endcaps on like a z400 wouldnt be as good but would give it some power gain just wouldnt be as high of gain that the ds gets.
