Default HELP!!!

I need help with my blaster. I learned the hard way that my blaster does not like water. Once I ran it thru the water it died on me. I got it to start back up but it took a while. When i did get it started it did not run very well, when I gave it gas it wanted to die, it had no power. I figured I flooded it really bad so I parked it for the day. Ever since then I haven't been able to start it because of no spark. I have changed the coil, and the CDI unit. The only thing I believe is left is the stator. That is the only thing I have not checked. I figure the stator either needs to be replaced or is rusted. Am I missing anything? Can anybody give me any ideas on what to check for?

Default HELP!!!

A CDI UNIT WAT WERE U THINKIN DUDE THAT WAS A WASTE OF MONEY FOR SURE. There really only 2 things that I can think of, from what you said. First spend 10 bucks on a spark plug. If not U have flooed ur enigne or carb. Id first take out the card see if there water in it. clean that all out and change ALLL your fluids. How deep was the water any way?

I did change the plug. What card is it that you are talking about? The water was about a foot and a half deep. Itg covered most of my stator cover.

Default HELP!!!

the magneto's may be bad on the wheel internally, and some1 said 10 bucks on a pulg.?!?! good god dude i only pay 1.30 for a pulg lol . just get a test light and test and follow the wires to see where the power stops.. the pulg wire may be corroded b/c of the water, just a simple bad connection i would have never done all that rebuilding if it ran 1 day then and not the next. its something simple man , i assure you i had a problem with fire on a xr 100 of mine for weeks and it was the magnetos in the flywheel, they have to generate electricity and wre rusted... i just had to sand them a little & adjust the point gap's and she fired up.
he does not have spark, the carb does not matter right now at all, has nothing to do with spark.

thanks the magneto is the main thing that I thought could be wrong. i just tried changing out parts. i found some rather cheap parts so it did not hurt my wallet. I will have to give it a shot and clean the magneto.
