What does taking out the baffel in a yfz450 do?

 

It makes it sound terrible.

 

Does it make it louder?

 

i believe u can take the baffle out of a stock exaughst and re-jet a surten much without getting a new exaughst

lol what does a car sound like w/out a muffler??? loud as crap any car is, you will loose low end power b/c on no back pressure but you will gain a few mph on the top end. and yes it will run a little better with 1-2 sizes up on the jet

 

I did it when I had the stock exaust on my 350 and it sounded better and I felt a big gain on power just do it you cant loose if you dont like it put it back in.

You probably do. It will flow a lot more exhaust with that pinhole-sized baffle removed. Not as much as a good aftermarket exhaust, but enough to throw off your jetting.
