Took the new machine out for a little ride for the 1st time. Rode about 40 miles and pretty nice trails and kept the speed between 15-25 for the most part, some slower and once in awhile a little faster. No real mud and no hills. Does that seem like a pretty mellow break-in? Took about 3 1/2 hours to do the 40 miles.

 

sounds like a pretty good break-in to me. No sudden starts or stops seems to help break the belt in too. Anyway, welcome aboard, where you from?

 

Sounds good for the first part... dont be afraid to put the throttle down... WOT is good for a new engine is short 2-4 second bursts

 

not a bad idea to add a little oil to the gas durig the break in period
