Default kn air filter

i want to get a kn filter for my 03 kodiak450, but they dont make em for the 2003 models, they are made for the 04 and 05s-do you think the other model year filters would fit my 03? i dont think they changed the airbox design from 03 to 04 so i dont think it matters. My twin air filter is great but its real hard to clean, after a half hour of trying to work the dirt out, it still has black areas in the foam. Any suggestions??
any help greatly appreciated.

try going to www.bikebandit.com Look up OEM parts, then select your bike, then look up the part number for your airbox. then look up the 04 and see if its the same part number, if the boxes are the same # their the same box so it will fit. good luck

Do you have foam filter cleaner? If so try a differn't brand like no-toil ....
Hard to clean...shouldn't be. I use my cleaner with water and have my filter clean in like 5 minutes.

No-Toil Cleaner

You will probable have to re-jet with the K&N
