whats the top speed of my 84 big red with no mods the pipe is SHOT holes every where Never rebuilt

I got up to 35 on a friends Big Red and I didn't even have it fully opened up.

 

eww a guessing game upper 40's maybe?

 

82 185s 45 with some throttle to play with

 

why wont mine do it then it will only hit around 35ish....maybe throttle cabel

 

the thing at the top of the carb with the cable going in it take it out and stretch the spring then put it back in try that

 

i have no play in my cabel

 

yeah, our bir red will do about 55-60ish because we used a baseball radar gun on a gravle road in 5th gear i hit 53 and i wasnt fully toped out yet

 

well i passed my cousin on his honda 350 rancher es. he was going 52 he said. and i freakin flew by him. so idk. im guessin round 60 for mine. but i got racing piston, cam, and exhaust. but seeing yours is stock its hard to say. alot of different things can hurt your top speed. if its running like crap. its not gonna get to its top speed. if your big red is only going 35 something is defiantly wrong.
