They still do pretty good around here. The only place the 450's get me is in the straight aways. Its mostly rider in motocross anyways. Who still races there's?

 

I went to the races at Budds Creek back in April or May. I was surprised to only see about 3 or 4 in all the classes combined.

 

Yeah they are all on the 450's, at Silver lake this weekend there was half the amount of 400ex's this year than last and twice as many 450's. The demand for 400ex's has went down so much, they sell so cheap now, I'll never sell mine because I wouldn't get anything out of it. I'll prolly end up getting a loan for a 450 and keep my 400, race my 450 and ride my 400ex.

 

I think wheelieking pretty much nailed it.

Even though I am set up for xc and cant comment on any first hand mx racing I can tell you that its going to be tough to give in to giving this one away so cheap just to start all over again with a 450.

440EX026 i live in nj and only know 1 place to ride the njorvp.com in Chatsworth nj. i would like to know if you know other places cuz u are a member or something to that site.there is a lot of ppl who like riding in nj but there is no where to ride that is legal. so i would like to join.

 

I think you signed up there already (under a diff screen name right?) and I answered you, but just in case it wasnt you or anyone else may be interested here is a little info.

First there is only one legal place in nj (currently) that has trails, and you know that one already. There are other legal places but their all mx or tracks only, and those are listed in the links section on the site www.offroadnj.com

What you will find is that most people who ride here are either riding illegallly or driving to PA (some of the pa places are listed uneder links also) and getting info on any of the "good" not so legal spots that you have a better chance of not getting ticketed will be hard over the net anymore and you may want to meet with some of the others there.
