Just bought a 2005 Sportsman 500 HO and I love it. My brother bought a 2004 last year and I rode it and fell in love with it.
What an awesome ride! GOes through anything and has some serious pep off the line as well.

Anyway the only problem I have is with the LED gas gauge. Mine doesnt work, it always reads full.

Anyone else have this problem or know what it could be?

I just bought it so its all under warranty but its the matter of loading it up and taking it back to where I bought it.

I have the same rig and it shows "full" for a long time (40 miles?) then it falls off as expected. If you haven't run this far between fuel stops you may not have a problem. Otherwise, this is what a warrenty is for....

 

My dad has an 05 400 sportsman does the same thing. And last week he just bought a 04 700 efi twin sportsman that does the same thing. And my uncles 05 400 Sportsman does the same.
