Default Places to ride south of Nephi Utah???

I am meeting someone around that area to test ride the turbo DS. He is coming from Las Vegas and I was wanting to meet him about four hours north of Las Vegas and then head back up to Little Sahara for the rest of the weekend. Any riding areas or good roads close to the freeway that would work for a test ride??

How about Coral Pink Sand Dunes, near Kanab?

Also consider Sand Hollow, otherwise known as the Hurricane Sand Dunes, near St. George.

Or you could ride at Three Peaks, west of Cedar City.

I would prefer something right on the freeway and closer to interstate 15 around Holden or thereabouts. We just need enough of a dirt road to open the turbo up a little without getting in trouble. I could probably just head out of town at holden and find a desert road. Anyone from that area with a little insight?

The frontage road between Fillmore and Holden on the east side of the freeway would work. I used to live on a ranch east of Fillmore, and drove that road every day. The south end of the frontage road is paved, but the last half mile on the Holden end of the road was gravel. I practiced my wheelies on a CR500 on that stretch of road, and even figured out how to go over backwards in fifth gear (which can mess up the bike a bit).

I haven't driven that road in a few years, but I would be surprised if they paved it. Maybe someone else knows.
