Bought used quad..Have no idea what it is!!

Bought a used quad at a garage sale for 200 clams. Its ugly as hell but it kicks right over with the electric start button. Best part...the guy threw in the snow plow that goes with it!! I plowed my entire neighborhood sidewalks last year with it but I think I should do some basic maintenance before this season hits. I have no idea what it is besides it being a 80's Yamaha quad. Has the word "Shaft" screened on the seat. No model identification anywhere on it. It has no suspension but the air in the tires and it is definetly a utility quad. By the way it's a four stroke and has a reverse gear. Can't really tell the original color but I'm guessing black tank with the plastics being sky blue??!! It is a semi-auto with a four speed I believe.
My question is this...Can I look up anywhere using the serial number to identify this beast of a quad? Take a guess? Anyone?
Thanks my brothers!

haha, i have no clue but good luck! sounds like a pretty good quad for the money. if its a yamaha that has forward and reverse and starts easily AND has a plow then thats a pretty good deal. not good for riding.... good for plowing, lol.

This thing runs like a raped ape. VERY reliable. It takes a country mile to turn this thing around though...Any pics available anywhere to confirm identity? Before I do the ebay thing I just want to be certain.
Thanks

If you can, put a picture of it in your gallery, then everybody can look at it. I'll bet somebody will recognize it.
Any Yammi dealers around you can take a pic to and see "if" they know? Not that they will though
Wow, no suspension??????? I'll bet that's a fun ride

It is more than likely a Moto4. We had one for years and years. It, too, had no suspension and it didn't look much like the one in the picture either. Maybe it was an earlier model?. I don't know.
1985 Moto-4 Is it like this one?

Didn't they call lots of models "Moto 4" back then??? Like Honda calls everything TRX now??? Post a picture, or load it up and take it down to a dealership and ask them what it is.
I would get on the maintenance thing right away! No doubt it is dying for an oil change, valve adjustment, etc..............
