Default 2004 650 clicking/clunking noise

I have an 04-650 MRP 1000 miles with a clicking sound in the drive train. You can hear the noise when you let off on the throttle. It is somewhat louder in lo-range. Could this be an axle problem similar to the 500's that I have read about? Any help would be appreciated. Thinksnow

It is the "NATURE OF THE BEAST" My 04 650 and my new 05 650 does the same thing. I believe it is the "backlash" in the transmission. My friend has a new 650 that does the exact same thing. I had 1200 miles on my 04 when I sold it and the clicking noise never changed from the time it was brand new. I would not worry if I were you.

My 04 has done that from the time it was brand new, like CATSKINNER said "NATURE OF THE BEAST"
