This summer I hope to have enough money to buy a quad.I rode a rancher 4x4 ES and liked it alot.I want to know if the ES is reliable and just how good they are over all.I never rode a king quad but I like the transmission but I think the engine is under powered, also I want one that accelerates fast. The rancher accelerated fast enough but will the king quad.

well these are exactly the two ATV's I had narrowed it down to for my wife, after a lot of reading ,asking and comparing we got her the Rancher ES ,it is lighter ,has more ground clearance and has excellent gearing for all riding situations not to mention it looks Great! It does not have all the extra stuff the King Quad has to get it through the trails but it doesn't need it and all the extra weight that goes with it.Good luck,I forgot to mention the Digital dash that is cool and shows what gear you're in !Oh one more thing the King Quad may also need a cooling fan added to keep it from overheating the 4x4 Rancher already has it.

I own a King Quad. I recommend it if your using it for work or plowing etc. The King Quad also goes places my buddy's Rancher just can't get through because of the differential lock. But for trail riding give me a Rancher any day Its a nice bike. And as for the extra cooling fan I've never needed one. Remember the King Quad really is a handful for trail riding I've had the bike actually hop off the trail on a small jump
