Default Fresh water on the way to sand mt?????

Hey gang. Does any one know if there is somewhere on the way to Sand Mtn I could get fresh water for my trailer? It would be nice if I could fill up in Fallon and not have to drag an extra 1000lb's all the way up.

I would guess that most service stations in town would have water given they are so close to the riding areas. I'm sure someone who has been there in the past could better answer your question.

"The highway passes right through the middle of downtown Fallon. You will see quite a few gas stations and stores if you need to stop and pick anything up. There is a Chevron on the right side of the higway that has water. Stay on highway 50 and continure about 25-30 miles past Fallon. You'll see a big white pile of sand off in the distance to the left . You would have to be asleep at the wheel to miss it."

Thanks scoundrel. Last year when we went we didn't come up the 95. We came the back way. This trip I'm taking the 95 to the 50 going through Fallon. The 95route doesn't have the elevation that the other way does. I'm trying to avoid as much elevation as possable because of the weight I'm towing. Did you get some wheels to make the trip out there?

The Chevron in town has been pretty cool about water. They have diesel in the back and I usually fill up there.

Keith, I'm leaving Thursday morning around 5:00am if not earlier. I should arrive at Sant Mtn around 3:30 in the afternoon.
